Our story began in the late 19th century in the historic lanes of Lucknow. It was our great-grandfather, Late Faiyaz Khan, who laid the foundation of this beautiful venture. He poured his soul into reviving and perfecting the intricate art of Chikankari. His unparalleled mastery and dedication did not go unnoticed—in 1965, he was honored with the prestigious National Award, cementing our family's place in the history of Indian textiles.

Keeping the Craft Alive Against All Odds
The torch of our heritage was then passed to his son, Late Ayyub Khan. Despite losing sight in one eye, his vision for Chikankari never faltered. With extraordinary resilience and a deep-seated love for the craft, he took the family business to new heights. His lifelong dedication and mastery earned him the country’s highest honor for craftsmen—the coveted Shilp Guru Award in 2007. He proved that true artistry isn’t seen with the eyes; it is felt with the soul.
